Image sensor
The CMOS or CCD sensor chip is driven by the driving circuit, which includes analog and digital circuits. The digital circuits are implemented in FPGA as the controller and the image processing unit. The low power design makes it possible to power up the device with a lithium battery.
Wireless transmission
The handheld device is connected to the image sensing device via Bluetooth for transferring the commands and parameters wirelessly. Meanwhile, the battery status and the previewing image can also be transmitted to the handheld device.
